Youth

Fostering and enriching Jewish living throughout Greater New Milford -- through empathy, wisdom, integrity, and partnership.

We encourage and support our high-schoolers in forming bonds of friendship and in broadening their Jewish experiences and social circles. Their eventful year has included movie nights, bowling, apple picking, shul-ins as hosts and as guests, worship leadership, assistant teaching and tutoring, regional conclavettes, Jewish camping, leadership training institutes, and pilgrimages to Israel.

Our youth group, SHAGGY, is affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism's North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) and is part of NFTY's Northeast Region, which stretches from Canada to eastern New York.
